PERSONAL NOTES

Dealana’s journal.

If you’ve ever wondered what makes me remember someone, start here. I write about the gestures that stay with me and the details I notice when someone serves. Read a little before you introduce yourself.

ENTRY 01 · DEVOTION

The second tribute.

The first one is a lovely surprise. The second tells me you thought of me again. Somewhere between sending the first gift and choosing the next, you learned a little about what pleases me. That part interests me.

If you want an idea, think back to the last time I got excited about something small. Were you listening?

ENTRY 02 · SERVICE

Before I ask.

My favorite part of a well-planned evening happens before I put on my shoes. The table is booked. I know what time to be ready. I can change my earrings three times because someone else has already checked the drive.

Imagine giving a woman who makes decisions all day the pleasure of making just one. Tonight, I think I’ll wear the gold.

ENTRY 03 · ETIQUETTE

Before you hit send.

By the time I read “Goddess, may I introduce myself?” there are a dozen messages just like it. I scroll past. If you want my attention, send a tribute first. Then send me a respectful introduction through my serving form.

Tell me what to call you, mention the tribute you sent, and tell me why you want to serve me. A few sentences will do. I’m interested in what you have to say once you’ve shown me you pay attention.
